2 Stop Smoking – Will Your ‘higher self’
Stop Smoking – Will Your ‘higher self’, lol part 2 of 3 of me sharing about the pleasures of stopping smoking
talking about will and self-will – pride and self-dignity – and about principle and personality. the ultimate question is definitely this one: am i directed by a habit, something i like or dislike, something that defines me – or am I directing myself in self-honesty. making a decision to stand by a principle as the directive principle of myself – and sticking to the principle no matter what = i prove to myself that i can trust myself and that i have the will to do what i decide to do. i direct me by the principle of what is ‘best for all’. why is stopping smoking ‘best for all’? not because smoking is ‘bad’ – but because one of the greatest ‘problems’ of our times with ‘great consequences’ is the human nature of ‘addiction’ and ‘dependency’; and secondly, but not lesser, because the purchase of cigarettes/tobacco is currently supporting the money-system which equals abuse, separation, deception, atrocity, exploitation of life. a simple decision can change the world. a simple breath can move mountains. check out Desteni at www.desteni.co.za I am 1 Vote for World Equality

fuck yeah – everyone stop smoking – put the industry up in smoke!
thanks bella for standing!
Cool! Yes, since stopping smoking I realized I could let go many things. Because actually, it’s not really the smoking I let go, its the dependency itself- and then I don’t desire things to fulfill a perceived dependency, like sweet things, coffee, etc.
Fascinating.
Thanks
This series presents some very motivating “tips” and I found it very supportive Thank you for making it, Bella. I’m finding also it isn’t so much about the smoking (other than some kind of self-created image of me smoking – LOL! & my mind telling me it would be very hard to quit) but more about the issues I have been using cigarettes to suppress. So it’s supporting me in terms of self trust & showing me things I’ve been “hiding” from myself. Your points on self will are very helpful.
@TheYewtreecottage cool
thanks
@KellyPosey cool Kelly, yeah, it really IS fascinating !
