My Personal Success Story–I Quit Smoking–7 Easy Steps

25

Requirements/Steps 1.Take Chantix (it worked for me) for a total of 10 days & continue smoking as usual. 2.After medicine kicks in on 7th day, desire for smoking goes away. 3.After 3 days of not smoking (day 10)…nicotine is out of system…the rest is all mental…all physical dependencies & potential physical withdrawal symptoms are gone. 4.Quit drinking for the first 2-3 weeks! If you drink, you’ll want to smoke-guaranteed! 5.Buy lots of gum (Costco or Sam’s Club). 6.After about 4 weeks…I could be around smokers without getting the urge to light one up. After 4 months, smokers stink! 7.Share your success with friends.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I just got chantix today. I have seen good and bad reviews and really like the good reviews much better so thanks!!

What about the cravings? And where can you buy this chantix.

jmcmonagle1 @ 10:37 am #

Thanks! I appreciate your testimony. I am getting ready to start taking Chantix tomorrow.

so 9 weeks Cold Turkey for me so far. pretty much just threw them away and used Xanax to take the edge off when I need it. As far as some people stating to Dr’s that they become sucidal…If you quit smoking to save your life, why would you stop smoking just to kill yourself?
After 3 days on Zero nicotine your free of it. The only part one has to overcome with time is the minds false feeling of please associated with smoking.
My cravings today are so far apart and last for less than a minute.

I know that it has now bee 1 year since you last posted on here, but just wanted to know how things are going. Thank you for posting your video btw.
I was offered Chantix by my Dr. but she mentioned the possible side effects for some people and mentioned suicidal thoughts and aske me if I thought that I might be that way and I said “Not a chance because when I first go without smokes for the first few days I would so irratable that people would think that I was Homocidal!” 9 weeks 4 me

Way to go. I am 29 years old and had been smoking since I was 15. It has been 1 month and 2 weeks and I still don’t want to smoke. I also have asthma and don’t want to die young.
