@DeaflyBlind Yes, they are more harmful, but the problem is that these things are of far more use than smoking. People can smoke privately indoors, and there is no real advantage of smoking outside, hence people should be allowed to destroy their lungs if they want to, but the shouldn’t force it upon us.

@Tnk64ChessCourse people drive cars which is just as or more harmful than people smoking. Lawn mowers etc etc so if all that is ok then just let us smoke.

@DeaflyBlind It sounds like a good argument, but it seems far more probable that smoking outside has greater negative consequences, rather than greater positive consequences. It is difficult to make an argument in favour of it, except for the weak response that it promotes freedom, but smoking outside gives second hand smoke to public, a public health concern, which far outweighs the freedom argument given it’s relative significance.

jesus christ, all this arguing. I agree with all the non-smokers, I allways smoke when non-smokers are not around, i go outside smoking, making sure my parents arent nearby to protect them, i even ask my girlfriend to go inside when she wants to sit outside with me, just so I’m not alone at 2:am, but i ask her to leave to protect her.
As a smoker you should know better than to smoke in public.
Now I’m gonna go outside and enjoy the loneliness
